Terms of service

Last updated: September 2026 · Applies to billkeep.ing

What this is

billkeep.ing is the landing page and waitlist for BillKeep, a subscription-tracking product in early development. These terms form an agreement between you and BillKeep: by using this site, joining the waitlist, or using the app, you accept them. They cover the site and the waitlist — when the product launches, fuller terms will apply to the app itself. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who can use it

By using BillKeep you confirm you’re able to agree to these terms. If you use BillKeep on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind it to these terms.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist gives you a place in line for early access — it isn’t a purchase, a reservation of paid features, or a guarantee of a launch date. We’ll email you when access opens; you can leave the list anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

The service

BillKeep helps you track recurring charges: you enter your subscriptions, and the app shows them in one place, reminds you before you’re billed, and totals what they cost each month and year. Early access is free; pricing, features, and availability may change as the product develops.

BillKeep is a tracking tool, not a financial advisor. The numbers it shows are based on what you enter — it isn’t financial, legal, or tax advice, and decisions you make from it are yours.

Your account

When accounts open, you’re responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

Your data

Anything you submit — including the subscription details you enter in the app — is stored encrypted on Amazon Web Services, used only to provide the service to you, and never used to train AI or machine-learning models. You own your data; you grant us only the limited license needed to store and process it to run the service. The privacy policy covers what we collect and why.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the site or the service. That means no:

  • Submitting other people’s email addresses or information you don’t have the right to share
  • Automated scraping beyond reasonable indexing, or probing the signup endpoint and systems
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfere with, or disrupt the service
  • Using the service for anything unlawful, or to violate anyone else’s rights
  • Reselling or commercially exploiting access without our permission

We may remove signups or suspend accounts that are fake, abusive, or automated.

Intellectual property

The site, the app, the BillKeep name and logo, and the content we create are ours (or our licensors’). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended — nothing else. You can’t copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the service except where the law allows it regardless. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Content on this page

Product mockups on this page are illustrative — they show fictional services (“Reelhouse”, “Stratus”) and sample numbers, not real prices or real user data. Features marked “Coming soon” are under development and may change or ship differently.

Third-party services

The site may link to or rely on third-party services (like our email provider). We’re not responsible for their content, policies, or practices — their own terms apply to your interactions with them.

Ending things

You can stop using the site, unsubscribe from the waitlist, or close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or use the service in a way that could harm it or other users — where practical, we’ll warn you first. Sections that should survive ending (like liability limits and intellectual property) do.

No warranty

The site and the service are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults. We work hard to keep them accurate and available, but we can’t promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or that reminders will always arrive on time. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, BillKeep isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — like lost profits, lost data, or missed bill payments — arising from using the site or service. Where liability can’t be excluded, it’s limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.

Indemnification

If your misuse of the service or breach of these terms leads to a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and damages arising from it — to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BillKeep is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws where you live, and disputes may be brought in the courts of your home jurisdiction where the law requires it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page — and if you’re on the waitlist or have an account, we’ll email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.

General

These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and BillKeep for the site and waitlist. If part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a right once doesn’t waive it. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours as part of a reorganization or acquisition.
