The short version

This policy covers the BillKeep landing page and early-access waitlist, not a live tracker account. The form asks for your email address and optionally your first name so we can contact you about early access. Calculator names and prices are not sent with your signup. App-specific storage, security, export and deletion details are not yet confirmed.

Who’s responsible for your data

BillKeep operates billkeep.ing and acts as the data controller for the information described in this policy — meaning we decide why and how it’s processed, and we’re responsible for handling it properly. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].

What we collect

Information you give us:

• Email address — required to join the waitlist.
• First name — optional; only used to greet you in emails.
• Consent — the form requires your permission to email you.
• Signup context — which part of the page you joined from (e.g. the calculator), so we know what people find useful. Calculator names and prices are not sent with your signup.
• Planned tracker data — service names, amounts, billing cycles and renewal dates would be entered by you in the future app; this waitlist does not collect them.
• Correspondence — if you email us, we keep the conversation and your address so we have context if you write again.

Information collected automatically:

• Analytics — this codebase includes an optional cookieless analytics integration; the live provider and configuration are not yet confirmed.
• Security data — Cloudflare Turnstile bot checks may be used when configured to keep the signup endpoint safe.

What we don’t collect

The waitlist form does not ask for bank credentials, card numbers or access to your inbox. The calculator does not send subscription names or amounts with a waitlist signup.

Your subscription data

The tracker is still in development. This site does not create a tracker account or store the subscription entries from the calculator.

How the future app stores, secures, exports and deletes subscription data is not yet confirmed and is not established by the illustrative previews.

Future app data handling

No claim about AI-training use, encryption, storage providers or permanent deletion is established by this waitlist page. Those details need confirmation for the future app.

The legal bases we rely on

If you’re in the EU, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, we process your data under these legal bases:

• Consent — you asked to join the waitlist and be emailed. You can withdraw consent by contacting us to request waitlist removal.
• Contract — if the future app becomes available, processing needed to provide its service will be described in the app’s terms and privacy policy. Joining this waitlist does not create an app account.
• Legitimate interest — keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage to improve the product.

Who processes it

The waitlist endpoint supports a configured email provider and optional Cloudflare Turnstile checks. The exact providers and deployment settings for the live site are not yet confirmed.

• Tracker hosting — not yet confirmed for the future application.
• Cloudflare — supported hosting preset and optional Turnstile bot-check integration; live deployment not yet confirmed.
• Email provider — receives email, optional name and signup context when configured. With Resend, we send a signup receipt after saving a new contact, then email you when early access opens.
• Analytics — optional integration; live configuration not yet confirmed.

Where your data lives

Storage providers, server locations, encryption arrangements and cross-border safeguards for the live service are not yet confirmed in this policy. Contact us before joining if these details affect your decision.

How long we keep it

Contact [email protected] to request waitlist removal or ask about retention. Retention periods, backups and deletion processes are not yet confirmed here; this policy does not promise immediate or irreversible deletion.

Security

The source includes validation and optional bot checks for waitlist submissions. That does not establish live deployment security, encryption at rest, rate limiting or incident-response guarantees. App security details are not yet confirmed.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• See the data we hold about you (access)
• Fix data that’s wrong (correction)
• Delete your data (erasure)
• Give you a copy in a portable format (portability)
• Stop or restrict a particular use (objection / restriction)
• Withdraw consent at any time — contact us to request removal from the waitlist

Just email [email protected]. Contact us to ask how your request will be handled. Deletion timing and backup handling are not yet confirmed here. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA.

Children

BillKeep is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us to request removal.

Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully, we’ll say so on this page and email the waitlist before the change applies.
